Lech Fishing Club

The Lech Fishing Club was founded in 1971 (articles of association 1972) by its four original members HUGO JAHN, ALBERT KÖB, WALTER MITTERMAYR and WALTER WALCH.

Through energetic financial and personal commitment by the members, the club managed to start building the fish pond in Zug in 1975 and the facility was opened in 1976.

The resources used for building the pond were raised solely by the Club itself, so the fish pond is entirely owned by the Lech Fishing Club.

Today the Club has 40 full, 4 honorary and 5 associate members and manages the private fishing lakes of Spullersee and Lech.

From 27 to 29 July 2012, the Club celebrated its 40-year anniversary at the Fishing Festival in Zug.
